The tape-in extension application process involves several steps to ensure a seamless and natural look. This appointment will be after a consultation.

Preparation: Wash and dry your hair thoroughly before the appointment to ensure a clean base for application.

​

Applying the Extensions: Using adhesive tape strips, I will sandwiches thin sections of your natural hair between two tape-in extension wefts. This process continues across all sections of your hair.

​

Blending: After applying all extensions, I will  blend the extensions with your natural hair by trimming and layering as needed for a seamless look.

​

Styling: Finally, I will style your hair to integrate the extensions with your natural hair, ensuring they blend flawlessly.

 

The entire process typically takes about 1-2 hours depending on the amount of hair being extended. Tape-in extensions are known for their ease of application and natural appearance, making them a popular choice for many.

Removing Tape: I will carefully remove each tape-in extension using a specialized solution that dissolves the adhesive without damaging your natural hair.

Cleaning and Preparing: After removing the extensions, I will clean your natural hair and removes any residue from the tape adhesive.

Re-taping: New adhesive tape strips are applied to the wefts of the extensions. I will carefully position the tape to match the sections where the extensions were originally placed.

Re-application: The cleaned and re-taped extensions are then re-applied to your natural hair. I will ensure each extension is securely positioned and blends them with your natural hair for a seamless look.

Styling: Finally, I will style  your hair to your preference, ensuring the extensions are integrated smoothly with your natural hair.

The move-up process typically occurs every 6-8 weeks, depending on how fast your natural hair grows and how well you care for the extensions. This maintenance ensures your tape-in extensions remain comfortable, secure, and maintain their natural appearance for extended wear.

The I-Tip extension application process involves a meticulous procedure to ensure a secure and natural-looking result. This appointment will happen after the consultation and hair has been received.

Preparation: Wash and dry your hair thoroughly before the appointment. This provides a clean base for the extensions to be applied.

​Inserting Microbeads: Small sections of your natural hair are threaded through silicone-lined microbeads or cylinders, which act as the anchor for the I-Tip extensions.

A single I-Tip extension strand is inserted into each microbead. I will use a specialized tool to clamp the microbead tightly, securing the extension in place without damaging your natural hair.

Blending: Once all extensions are applied, I  will blend them with your natural hair by trimming and layering as needed to create a seamless transition.

 

Styling: Finally, I  will style your hair to integrate the extensions with your natural hair, ensuring they blend flawlessly and achieve the desired look.

During an I-tip extension maintenance appointment, I  will carefully inspect your hair and scalp to assess the condition of the extensions and ensure they are securely attached.

Removing Extensions: Using a specialized removal solution, I will gently loosen and remove each microbead from your natural hair, followed by a deep wash your natural hair and scalp to remove any residue from the extension bonds and adhesive.

Repositioning or Replacing:  Depending on the extension condition, I will either reposition them using new microbeads or replace them with new extensions if necessary.

​

Blending: Once repositioned or replaced, I will blend the extensions with your natural hair by trimming and layering as needed to maintain a seamless appearance.

​

Styling: I will style your hair as desired to integrate the extensions with your natural hair, ensuring they blend smoothly and achieve the desired look.
